What can I say about you, Ed
And where would I be without you?

You are my dearest friend, confidante and brother ( girlfriend he he). Words cannot describe your acceptance of me, along with the pure unconditional love and support you so freely give.
I can be me with you and that is a rare thing in these days with the way the world is. There's nothing I can't share with you.
You are a man of love, beauty, honesty and truth. You give/are the true meaning of friendship. Your life reflects this. You give your heart and Soul to anyone in need.

I admire and Respect you and I am so Grateful that our paths have crossed and that we can share our life together unconditionally

Eddie just celebrated 3 years  November 14, I wish I could have made it to your special day, but dang health kept me down again. I hope you know I was there in Spirit!!  God Bless and Remember "One Day At A Time" and he he  " It isn't Easy being me" he he  love ya Eddie

Ed just celebrated 8 years! I am so proud of him. I went  with him to the meeting where his sponsor gave him his 8 year coin. Life has taken lots of turns in his life over the past year, yet still he remained sober and active in his sobriety. We don't get to see each other as much as we use to , but we stay in touch on the phone and when we can we get  together for lunch. . He still is and will always be very special & dear to my heart. He was the first man I brought home to meet my husband. Life is great, God is awesome!
Special Blessings to you my sweet dear friend. Keep following your heart and stay close to your God. Keep that light always shining. KEEP ON KEEPING ON.
Much Love & Gratitude Donna

When Ed first came in we went to a lot meetings together. He always read the promises. We now both can recite them, which we did last night on the way home from the meeting and talked about how they have come true in our lives today. What a Gift.

The Promises of A.A.
The Results of Applying The 12 Step Program...One Day At A Time

If we are painstaking about this phase of our development, we will be amazed before we are half way through. We are going to know a new freedom and a new happiness. We will not regret the past nor wish to shut the door on it. We will comprehend the word serenity and will know peace. No matter far down the scale we have gone, we will see how our experience can benifit others. That feeling of uselessness and self pity will disappear. We will lose interest in selfish things and gain interest in our fellows. Self-seeking will slip away. Our whole attitude and outlook upon life will change. Fear of people and economic insecurity will leave us. We will intuitively know how to handle situations which used to baffle us. We will suddenly realize that God is doing for us what we could not do for ourselves.
Are these extravagant promises? We think not. They are being fulfilled among us-sometimes quickly, sometimes slowly. They will always materialize if we work for them.
